FUCK'EM! Gameday or not, I want to see snot bubbles come out of Kelly's nose after Kovacs eats his QB's lunch.
September 4th, 2011 at 1:40 AM ^
Those hits were remarkable! I jus KNOW Kovacs' is going to be bringing the LUMBER on those nancy-boys who go to Notre Dame.
September 4th, 2011 at 12:15 AM ^
What if he's just talking smack? That would be awesome!
September 4th, 2011 at 11:10 AM ^
Its definitely just Des talking trash. And he should, after the way they played last night, ND doesnt even belong on VS.
September 4th, 2011 at 12:16 AM ^
ESPN already confirmed it with the school. They wouldn't change the location after something like that, especially when they have a direct interest in promoting the under the lights game.
I doubt he's being serious.
September 4th, 2011 at 12:40 AM ^
Confimring it with the school really doesn't mean anything. Its ESPN's decision -- not Michigan's. Gameday can and does change the location all the time. However, its a night game on ESPN, so its still pretty likely they'll be in Ann Arbor.
September 4th, 2011 at 12:17 AM ^
Howard is being honored before the game right? He'd be in Ann Arbor regardless? Or at least fly in if he's not already in town?
September 4th, 2011 at 12:18 AM ^
Yeah he confirmed with Roundtree via twitter that Howard will be there, but the whole show I guess is up in the air.
September 4th, 2011 at 12:44 AM ^
It's also the ABC night game of the week which Herbstreit calls with Brent Musberger. I don't see how the Gameday crew won't be there.
September 4th, 2011 at 1:33 AM ^
Musberger said at the end of the LSU-Oregon game that they would "see you next week in Ann Arbor" Is this even something they could change at the last second like that?
September 4th, 2011 at 12:27 AM ^
A hijack but can't create my own thread. He had 113 yds and 3 TD from his FB position in a 50-14 win over muskegon hts today. Also playing LB. Just an FYI for recruiting info.
He is looking fast, big, and making good cuts with vision.
September 4th, 2011 at 12:30 AM ^
If you go to Gameday's website, it has a countdown going to the show in Ann Arbor. So there's that for you.
September 4th, 2011 at 12:51 AM ^
for them to go to Happy Valley instead. It's a bigger game and I can't imagine the average fan finds "first night game in Michigan history" more exciting than "Alabama goes on the road to face ranked team."
September 4th, 2011 at 9:28 AM ^
But Gameday went to Tuscaloosa last year for the Alabama/Penn State game. Bama killed PSU that day and they'll kill PSU in Happy Valley next week too.
I'm pretty sure UM/ND will be more of a contest.

for those not on twitter

With Notre Dame losing today it is not a guarantee that #GameDay will be in Ann Arbor next weekend

USF isn't a bad team. Tone it down
September 4th, 2011 at 3:36 AM ^
Just another reason to say "Fuck Notre Dame"

fucks it up for everyone.

According to their countdown clock and website they are still coming.
September 4th, 2011 at 11:14 AM ^
announcements well in advance, the countdown clock on their site and multiple statements on the air saying they will be in Ann Arbor next week (said it at least twice on GameDay yesterday) - no way they don't come to Michigan/Notre Dame.

I find it strange that the ND loss would make a difference. It's not like it was likely to be a game with national title implications anyway - I thought the main appeal was that it was ND-Michigan, first night game, hokamania, desmond, etc. ND being not as good as expected takes a little bit away, but I don't think that was ever the main appeal.

It's not like it was likely to be a game with national title implications anyway - I thought the main appeal was that it was ND-Michigan, first night game, hokamania, desmond, etc. That's all still true. ND being not as good as expected takes a little bit away, but I don't think that was ever that big a part of the reason they were going to do gameday here.
September 4th, 2011 at 12:16 PM ^
It will be in A2 Saturday!
September 4th, 2011 at 12:19 PM ^
calm down, there is no way Gameday does not come to A2...its the 1st night game in the Big House do you really think they are going to miss marketing gold like that?
September 4th, 2011 at 12:39 PM ^
I really hope damefan makes another video
September 4th, 2011 at 12:41 PM ^
Piece of shit usf? They are a good football team. Im upset ND lost too, but calling usf a piece is a bit extreme.

Calm down guys, Gameday just made it official they are coming here.

On a related Desmond Howard note, did anyone else see his "Stay In The Blue" ad in the stadium yesterday? I thought it was pretty good!
