Very creative and I love how they're not afraid to just try things. Makes me sad that the only player we have like that is Dempsey. I'd appreciate Spain more right now if they weren't playing us.
goal. our defense is offensive. Jermaine Jones, Tim Ream, Eric Lichaj, and Gooch are all at fault for that one.
looks fairly big. Hope we can get back in it.
Spain is really good, USA, not so much
With 3 of our best 4 Defenseman out it isn't surprising that Spain is picking apart our back 4. There isn't a ton you can do when the talent differential is so large.
Disappointing :(
Oh well, crush Canada in Detroit
this is almost painful to watch. being outclassed this much could def crush their confindence heading into next few games.
has to be pissed and rightfully so because the defense are a sieve at allowing Spain to get free run to open space.
Speaking of international soccer, I see that Oregon's uniform designers seem to be branching into new territory. Check out France's new Nike away uniforms:
What's the inspiration here? Prison Break?
sweaters that look like that.
That may be, but French fans can't stand them. For those who can read French, there were a lot of entertaining comments from fans on the l'Équipe website about them.
3-0 Spain in the 49th Min

"RT @USFCollin: Congrats to Greg Robinson for finding work as the defensive coordinator for the #USMNT"
was just an old fashioned beat-down.
That game just absolutely sucked watching, but I watched it all nonetheless. I still don't see any reason why we can't win the gold cup with better players on the field for the US for 90 minutes. Not to mention, the competition will be down significantly. It was the right decision to rest some top players with the CA game on Tuesday.
Stating the obvious: our D needs some major work!
That game was just ugly. Good thing that wasn't our main line of defense, or we'd be in serious trouble for the Gold Cup.
That was a swift ass kicking, Spain is ridiculous, I turned it on late and didn't see Messi out there. Was he even playing?
plays for the Argentina national team. If he was also from Spain, the world would forfeit the Cup to them until he retired.
