Ron Thompson - May 11th Decision Deadline
http://michigan.scout.com/2/1067746.html
Summary: May 11th decision deadline. "Uncommitted in-state defender" in his ear to commit to UM.
I am wondering why he has such a mediocre offer list, as he is highly rated by some of the recruiting sites. Thoughts?
Bo didn't recognize the term Valhalla when Ufer used it in the Anthony Carter-beats-IU-on-the-last-play game. Ergo, he couldn't possibly be Odin.
I always chuckle at Bo's response to the use of Valhalla, "What's a Valhalla?". Classic.
does your brother Matt go to school with Danny O'brien or is he just really good friends with him? because whenever i read about either they always talk about their relationship and about recruiting each to go to a certain school.

Posters above have made note of Thompson (and perhaps also Funchess) being people who will "create matchup problems" which will force defense to cover them differently. I'm wondering to what extent this could open up opportunities for our runners (Denard) to make plays. I admit that I'm no expert in X's and O's, so I apologize if this is a dumb question.
My question is this: if uncommitted in-state defender thinks Thompson should go to UM, why is uncommitted in-state defender still uncommitted? Eh? Perhaps they should commit at the same time on speakerphone with Hoke. I think that would be an enjoyable change-up. Not only two commits back-to-back, but two simultaneously. Make it happen, UI-SD.
