The nutty Michigan coverage isn't so much about Harbaugh as it is a signal to the Big Ten that Fox wants to party.
Since time is crawling along here at work and I'm not going to be productive anyways...I got to thinking what's going to be the first playcall for the offense tonight?
My guess just on tendency...inside Power O to the left.
Then again I'm not creative...does Harbaugh dare run PA on first down just because everyone in the stadium will be thinking..."He's gonna try and jam this down our throats?"
When Michigan announced it would be the first major football game of 2015 for its opener, and that that meant playing on a Thursday night, my initial reaction was: 'That's not Michigan. Dave Brandon creates the future, etc.'
As the game approached, I talked myself into thinking that even though Michigan football belongs on a Saturday afternoon, I would be pretty appreciative that the Michigan football season started two days early.
Now that it is here, I am realizing that I really, really dislike it. The 'favorite gameday traditions thread' made me realize that 95% of us cannot have the usual Saturday/gameday that we are used to. I'm at work, and have to pretend I am working for the next 9 hours, which is the worst possible way to spend the hours before kickoff.
I'm just curious what everyone else's opinions are.
Today marks the official first day of the college football season. I can't remember an offseason more fun than the one we just expirienced, but I think we are all ready for some football games.
The last few seasons have been very depressing. Last year most of us were ready to move on to basketball before the season was halfway over (I even celebrated an open practice with a wallpaper). This year has to be different, right?
Here's a wallpaper to celebrate the return of football, complete with the official shades of Maize and Blue.

I know we already have Guess the Score, Win Stuff: Utaugh
However, I thought it'd be fun to make predictions regarding tonight's final score - and to benefit a good cause along the way!
Closest Guess to the Final Score Tonight, and I will make a $25 Donation to your favorite charity! (No Human Funds, please).
I will use the first rule from the MGoBlog guess the score rules:
1. Readers predict the final score of a designated game by placing a guess in the comments, preferably in the format of [M score][hyphen][Opp score], for example "41-30" or "35-31 Michigan", or "28-24 Go Blue", or "38-0 Harbaugh!" etc.
and add another of my own:
2. Place the name of the charity of your choice in the body
Predictions involving scores where Utah wins will get a $10 donation. /s
And one more:
3. Go Blue
DON'T FORGET TO LIST YOUR CHARITY!!!!
A big thanks to everyone who attended MGoBlog Football Eve last night at Ashley's. I was really grateful to meet each of you and would love to do it again next year.
We may need to find a bigger venue as the 50+ people definitely exceeded the fire marshal limit for Ashley's basement.
11 hours until kickoff! GO BLUE!
I cut up UTL (part 1) with an appropriate song, was too giddy to sleep last night. Enjoy. GAME DAY
