MBB to host Arizona on Dec. 14
Michigan mens Basketball will Officially host Arizona at Crisler Center on Dec. 14. Reports came out a while ago but the Arizona daily star has said its official. this should be a great game between two ranked teams. Michigans schedule gets better and better. Wonder why they didnt schedule a meeting for football would have loved to see us go against Rich Rods new team just to see how we match up. What do you guys think?

Chris Webber chimes in re: M in his book/NCAA sanctions lifted tomorrow
Just searching through the twitters to see if anyone was talking about the sanctions being lifted against Webber, Traylor (RIP), Bullock and Taylor. And I found this that Chris just tweeted a few minutes ago-
HELL YEAH! Its bout to get sooo real! RT @njmatt18: @realchriswebber Are you going to write much about Michigan?
Very interesting to see if anything happens tomorrow. Like if his pictures start to reappear in the recordbook and Michigan photo store starts putting up Fab Five pics for sale since they can sell whatever photos they have the rights to.
Edit: wow I suck at this formatting stuff.
MBB Final Four to be aired on TBS starting next year, championship game on TBS starting in '16
The migration of major sporting events from free network TV to cable continues, as TBS will begin broadcasting Final Fours and National Championship games for men's basketball starting next year. The arrangement alternates between CBS and TBS on an annual basis.
While moving major events to cable isn't the total shock it used to be due to the prevalence of cable/satelite in households these days, it still seems to affect the cachet of the event. Tuning into Channel 247 on my DirectTV to watch a Men's Championship game rather than finding my local CBS affiliate will feel funny.
The times, they be a changin'.
Horford and 12 other UM Athletes tabbed NSCA Athletes of the Year
http://www.mgoblue.com/genrel/050713aaa.html Title says most of it. Thirteen UM athletes were named to the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) All-American Player of the Year status. Among them was Jon Horford.
Strength coach Jon Sanderson on Jon Horford ... "Jon Horford has a relentless drive to be the best in the weight room and on the court. He has made tremendous gains in his time at Michigan improving in every area that we test. His vertical jump has improved by four inches and his back squat has improved by 135 lbs., among others. He is a high-character kid and a joy to coach."
Awesome to see all the athletes working hard.
