Back in the 70's women used to be lifted and passed up to the top of the stadium - no part of the woman's body was off limits in achieving the ultimate goal of getting her to the top. Of course, everyone was drinking and getting high in the stadium back then so it seemed like a reasonable, fun thing to do. Right? My freshman year, I was lifted and passed up. I have to say, it was pretty cool on the way up until I was dropped and ended up pretty bruised and sore. That excellent tradition ended with an urban legend that a woman did make it to the top and was then thrown over ,plummeting to her death. Those were the days.
Great job capturing the open mouth gaze, the awkwardly too-long stare, then the delayed response to the question when the interviewer has given up and moved on to something else. "I was hit by a mail truck. Did you know that? Type response.
Said nothing, just went on with his recruiting spiel. What could he say? He was out Bo'd and probably respected it. I like to think that Bo was chuckling to himself and thinking, "These two are bad ass. I want this kid on my team." Coyle went on to show nothing but the utmost respect for Bo and "HIS rules" while playing for him. Character was a priority with Bo and it seems that Harbaugh is bringing back that tradition.
My favorite movie, warning, it's artsy, which most people here don't seem to like is Robert Altman's "Short Cuts." It's a narrative based on Raymond Carver's short stories. IMO it's the most talented assembly of artists ever appearing in one film - Jack Lemmon, Ann Archer, Julianne Moore, Lily Taylor, Robert Downey, Jr. Andie McDowell, Tim Robbins, Francine McDormond, Buck Henry, Huey Lewis (not him so much), Matthew Modine, Lily Tomlin and Tom Waits. It's worth watching just to see the performance of Tomlin and Waits. I share this because it's one of those movies that I tell friends they have to see. Best movie ever and I get a response like, "It was OK." So there really is no accounting for taste in movies, or music. It's personal.
They really do and that's what I love about them. So organic and and earthy. They are amazing braised in butter, but watch out, you'll think your'e bleeding internally when you see your pee after you eat them.
Yep. Opened this summer. I should try something else. The dish I got was a never-ending bowl of uninteresting broth and ramen noodles. I've heard the dessert with the raw quail egg is amazing, though.
Dinner at the Slurping Turtle. Don't really get the hype about this place. Nevertheless, nice evening even though VD is a huge marketing ploy. Don't buy into it that much.
Love Depeche Mode. Willie Nelson makes my ears hurt. Classic quote though. "Lance Armstrong deserves his titles, when I was on drugs, I couldnt even find my bicycle."
Don't get the love of the Doors so much. Love Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young - "Suite Judy Eyes," especially. WOODSTOCK. Of course Janice Joplin singing, "Me and Bobby McGee," there too. Amazing memories. Thanks for this post.
Adagio for Strings by Barber is so powerful. Played during the ceremony in NYC after 9/11 and in the movie Platoon. If you haven't heard it, its just beautiful.

Love, "The Fault in Our Stars," too.

Haha. VD. Aren't you a clever one.
Talking is overrated. Have fun.
That sounds perfect:)
Well then, she's one lucky woman. You did it up right.
Best ever Valentine's Day for you and your wife. Congratulations.
Mmmm. I want to be your Valentine.
Such a romantic movie. Too funny. Are you guys solid, or was she sending a message? Watch out.
Really? No early signs that she was a bit, or a lot, psycho before it got to this point?
Sweet.
TMI really. I have a visual that's kind of creeping me out. :)
How romantic! You are a stud.

Both Nicholas Cage and Travolta were amazing in "Face Off." Extreme is right.
Listen to, "Golden Slumbers" and , "While my Guitar Gently Weeps." Enough said.
Queen and Girls. I like you.

Check out Pink singing, "Me and Bobby McGee." Amazing voice.

Yes, and thank you.
Can't stand Katy Perry and Taylor Swift. Love The Violent Femmes, "Kiss Off," and Elvis Costello, "All This Useless Beauty."

Don't get heavy metal. Best concert video - Talking Heads, "Stop Making Sense."
Parents matter. That was the difference. Think Ty Wheatley and his son.
He's crazy like a fox.
