There was some rule questioning on Twitter. It sounded like even if he had touched it and picked it up in the endzone, it's still a touchback, not a safety. Can anyone verify this?
Speight was redshirted and they did not want to waste that. Everything I've heard about practice is that he is much better than Morris. I'm actually rooting for him to beat out the hotshot freshmen...
He could go from most loved to most hated in seconds. I can't imagine that scenario, and if he doesn't end up at Michigan at this point, thats what we'll all think happened...
I think the sad reality is he hasn't made up his mind yet and based on where his head is when talking to a "source" is the droplets of information we get...
If Denard makes as big a jump from year 2-3 as he did from year 1-2, I want him as our QB. If he plateaus or falls off this year, it'll be time to look at a position change for his senior year..

He's going to sit out a year and be handed a starting qb gig (maybe) at a lower tier school? Why not prove yourself a true QB who can run (instead of opposite) and set yourself up for the NFL? How many pro teams run the spread again? If he's planning on switching positions he can just as easily do so in a new offense at Michigan.
