Watching OSU vs. MN
Win or lose (I think OSU will probably pull it out), I'm feeling more confident about Michigan's chances against OSU in a month or so. OSU's O-line is pretty bad, especially their tackles, and I think Winovich is going to absolutely eat them alive. I don't think you can survive by throwing the ball all over the field against Michigan, and that's the only way they're leading against MN.

Agreed to a point.... but it does feel like all the bounces and all the “inches” have gone OSU’s way the past few years. In a tight game THAT psych edge can be enough of a let down to give up one inch too much and self fulfill the prophecy.

That's a bunch of BS. They have no psychological advantage, just a talent advantage.

Really? A program winning 15 of the last 17 games doesn’t give a psychological advantage? Even if you play the “none of the OSU players have played all these games” card, at least half of the current OSU squad has two years under their belt of coming back from double digit deficits against Michigan and winning. They know how to win this game.
We don’t.

Putting aside the requisite and oft-proven caveat about how this is not the OSU team we'll face in November, this year's Buckeyes just don't look right.
Usually, they sleepwalk through the opening half of a game like this, catch a break or two, then hammer away with a future NFL back and burst the dam with a few 80-yd plays. They may be lazy for a while, but a some point they look good.
Today, their running game was a mess, passes never traveled eight yards and Minny often outmuscled them. The RT's technique (and effort) was comically atrocious, like that of a third-string high-school tackle who only play cause he wants a letter jacket and doesn't like gym.
If it bleeds, we can kill it.

OSU does bleed and Michigan can kill it, Arnold.
This was probably OSU's worst-played game of the season thus far...
...and they still came away 16-point victors?
In college football, if you can survive your worst-played game with a win...TAKE IT!!!

I mean I would say the bigger deal is that OSU run game is mediocre this year statistically, can't even get much going against Minnesota. They are not going to get away with being one dimensional against UM regardless of how good Haskins is as a passer

K.J. Hill's one-handed touchdown catch was the most spectacular thing I saw all day. His endzone Tom-foolery was the funniest thing I saw all day.
