Vote for Braylon to Doc. Sat.'s All-Decade team

Submitted by Bleedin9Blue on
I'm sure that many of you read Doc. Saturday just as I do so you all will already know that he and his team have been working on various "All-Decade" awards. But for those that don't know... he's doing that. Anyway, right now he's working on assembling the "All-Decade Team" and is looking for the best two receivers of the decade. Since our beloved Braylon made the list I feel that it's our responsibility to make sure that he's there (assuming of course that you do consider the "bane of Tacopants" himself to be one of the best receivers on the list). So, go here and vote for Braylon. Edit: I see that Brian already put this on mgolicious. Mods, feel free to delete this if you want. I thought that since it was only two hours old and I hadn't already seen a board post on the subject that it was new. Silly me. Sorry for the repost.

doesn't mean it shouldn 't be a thread. How else can the board discuss those articles? At least in my opinion. So post away.

That video gives me goosebumps. Oh, 2004 - you were a great year. I was still in college and was at this game. Then I got really high afterwards. Man those were the days.

suuuuuuuuuuuuucked. The last 8 + overtime were the happiest I can remember being in the Big House. I've always imagined the huddle going something like this: Navarre: Okay, Student Body Left on two, on two. Braylon: F*ck that... Do you see the guy they've got on me? Navarre: No...Wait, THAT little guy? Braylon: [grinning] Yep Navarre: Agreed, F*ck that. New play: Braylon runs deep, everyone else... uh, whatever. On two, on two.

That is a hell of a list assembled there. I voted for Braylon obviously, but Larry Fitzgerald and Calvin Johnson deserve to make the All-Decade team as well. It's a damn shame one of them will be left off.

When I looked at the results and Braylon was out ahead of LFitz 37%-16% something felt wrong. But he stayed all four years which should still mean something. Who knows how Fitz does with another year or two of double teams.

...but it's a good thing Larry Fitzgerald left after two years, otherwise this is a no-brainer. Despite his numbers, Calvin Johnson was punished for being at Ga. Tech w/Reggie Ball as QB.
