I don’t care how good they think they are. Saban and Bama have their number and will beat them every year until proven otherwise on the field.

I think if I was a fan of the dominant team of the conference whose games he exclusively calls, I'd quite like him but otherwise I can see why a lot of people find him grating.

It’s probably just me being burned out on Bama talking but...as much hype as this game has and how good it’s expected to be, it’s also annoying knowing that even if Bama loses, they’re still most likely going to the playoff.
This scenario might be the same for LSU but I am confident that a one loss non-SEC champ Alabama team would still go to the playoff. And the media would sob if they didn’t.
So, as great as this matchup is, it’s also kind of meaningless.

Hmmmmm...I don’t know. The luxury of being Alabama is I think they could lose by three touchdowns and still go to the playoff. That’s how regarded they are.

There is so much highly ranked home grown talent in Louisiana that I doubt they have to try very hard to get them to go to LSU (in regard to payments). They're the powerhouse in the state. Sorta like OSU is to Ohio.
