There are...

Such a flattering picture of Ol' Bob Nussbaumer.
Why do so many old timey footballers look like they're nearing middle age when in fact they were like 20 years old? Is it just the cameras? Like the quality isn't super good and/or it just "feels" old and so it tricks our brains into viewing them as looking older? Really outside my wheelhouse but something I've always wondered about.
I've had similar thoughts about old movies. The heroines and heroes are often in their low 20s but look older, while the "old" folks are only 50.
Vsauce did a video about that very subject. Worth the watch if you have 20 minutes to kill!
Can 39 be far behind?
With the 20s easy to find
That puts the teens near.
Grab a beer.
Single digits are coming to mind!
Great limerick.
Never said "Nantucket" once.
Fuck it. I forgot.
Can't wait, troops getting restless!!.... averaging one ridiculous non-sports related posting a day it seems.
Did you hear about the Route 66 Disney attraction? Sounds pretty neat. Or America is bad? One of the two. Also, Tom Brady is rich. Agents try and screw over young athletes, shocking. That is the mgoblog report.
"He coached the defensive backs for the Detroit Lions from 1957 to 1962 prior to being promoted to defensive coordinator in 1963 after Don Shula left to take over as head coach for the Baltimore Colts."
Somewhere there is an alternative universe in which Detroit Lions management was smart enough to recognize who they had on staff in 1963, and promoted defensive coordinator Don Shula to the head coaching job of the Lions.
He did get to coach some awesome DBs for the Lions, though.

He also was on the last Lions coaching staff to win an NFL Championship in 1957.
There are two #40s who are far more prominent in Michigan football history than Nussbaumer: Ron Simpkins and John Kolesar.
This Michigan alum was an assistant coach for the Detroit Lions in 1957, when they won the NFL Championship.
