Apparently this is working. Since there’s always overflow from Professor Thom’s, the official AAUM bar in Manhattan, MGoReaders have been meeting up with friend of the blog Kevin Blauch at his pub by Madison Square Garden.

Specifically, Dewey’s Pub, on West 30th Street.

I told Kevin we can only run so many of these, but he’s a really…and I mean REALLY invested Michigan fan, and is kind of terrified that a bunch of Buckeyes will take over the place he literally has to watch The Game at. You can help, and have good beer and good food while you’re at it. Here’s a map:

But you’ll be able to spot it by the wait staff standing outside with Michigan shirts and handing out discount cards.

This may be the dumbest question of all... but is there an AAUM gamewatch in Detroit? I couldn't find any info on their site or FB page. I'm visiting from San Diego and I know of course the Game will be on everywhere, the vast majority of which are UM-Friendly, but is there an AAUM official spot/spots?

I was planning on going to Brother Jimmy's (lower manhatten) - its where I watched a Michigan game several years ago.  Great crowd back then, The Victors after scores etc ... anyone know if its still a Michigan bar ???
