If you want to see how a big tailback works in the spread, take a look at Bryan Schroeder from Central Michigan. He's listed at 5'9 and 216. Runs like a beast in the spread. You don't need to hit a home run every play. I will take five yards a pop any day. If Hopkins can catch the ball out of the backfield, he will be fine.

The article said Devin Gardner was trying to graduate early. We have seen several posts here that said he was NOT, so I'm wondering if something has changed...

I understand that high schools have to have graduation standards, but in certain scenarios they need to act in the best interests of the kid. I firmly believe that enrolling early benefits students by allowing them to adjust to college and being away from home without the pressure of a football season. Any kid with a great opportunity--my wife was allowed to graduate early to go to Germany and study--should get the opportunity unless there are extenuating circumstances (i.e. not meeting Clearing House requirements).
