I forced my kids to watch an episode of NOVA (??) about the JW Telescope and while they were super bummed to watch it they frequently make reference to it. No tengo Netflix but I hope the doc is good!
Also, guessing you're a Douglas Adams fan with that username?
DON'T PANIC...and always bring a towel with you.
Correct, my user name checks out.
I watched it the other night and it was fantastic. The whole Unknown series on Netflix has been really good so far
Watching it now, and it's really interesting.
I watched the documentary last night. Quite amazing the thing worked as expected.
Definitely an hour well spent.
I'm totally gonna nerd out to this. I love all things space. That telescope is a game changer.
I dunno ‘bout dat… does it play the 4?
Damn. Good idea. I got to see the JWebb in person before it was shipped to South America to launch. It’s a beautiful piece of machinery and a more beautiful feat of engineering by thousands of highly intelligent folks.
wish I would have thought of and been involved with this doc. Kudos to those who are.
I visited a friend at Goddard and watched it being built in a very large clean room. It was pretty cool.
Thanks for posting this - I would have never looked at a documentary named 'Unknown: Cosmic Time Machine' because it sounds like some sci-fi, conspiracy driven crap. Add JWT to that title, and I'm all in!
