OT: Where is Iowa's Brandon Wegher?
It appears we're not the only Big Ten team with camp rumors and ambiguity.
Brandon Wegher, Iowa's debatable #2 RB, is not practicing with the team for undisclosed reasons, though it does not appear to be related to academics.
Does anyone have any info as to what's going on here? Ferentz is expected not to address the situation any time soon.

Who knows, but I love the BHGP's Pakibomb Advisory System. I think we need to come up with an equivalent one for the secondary; God forbid if Mike Williams is starting.

There seem to be plenty of rumors out there ranging from leaving the team to baby mama drama. Really though, theres no actual evidence of whats really going on, and until something with a factual basis surfaces, I would expect him to be playing. Still, im more concerned with how Jewel Hampton and Adam Robinson are looking. Both of them figure to be better than Wegher this season anyway.

His girlfriend is supposedly pregnant and he is taking time away from the team to be with family. He is supposedly pretty freaked out about the situation. It does not have anything to due with academic or legal issues. Iowa's depth chart at RB is getting leaner. True Freshman Marcus Coker is rumored to have a broken collar bone. He was likely to redshirt but with Wegher gone may have seen the field in the event Hampton or Robinson goe down.
