UM has actually been pretty good against the spread this year (6-3-1 per BetMGM), and the ones they didn’t cover were at least 3 score spreads (Hawaii +53.5 missed by 7.5, Maryland +23.5 by 16.5, and Indiana +23.5 by 2.5) that were never really in doubt as wins. Given that, a 17.5 point spread against Illinois feels very reachable when UM will likely take away what Illinois does on offense and will pound the ball on Illinois and turn possessions into points with regularity.

Yeah, the question for me will be how will our offense do against their D. Because I have a hard time seeing their offense doing much, especially if Chase Brown is limited or out completely.

Gimme Arkansas moneyline at plus-odds, Kiffin too busy chatting up Auburn this week

Thought about playing that too. I am curious if KJ Jefferson can get that offense going finally.

This week, I decided to do a 6 game parlay and round robin on all the B1G games (except the Ill v UM game) by just taking the under.
the straight parlay pays $46.41 on the $1 bet. The round robins will pay between 3:1 and 4:1 on smaller bets. I’m hoping the weather will play a large role in keeping the scores down this week.

at baylor (now +2) do you just take the moneyline?
November 18th, 2022 at 8:48 PM ^
Yeah I would. I was fortunate to see a +3 briefly yesterday and grabbed it, but it went back to +2.5 then fairly quickly , and now it seems some books moved it down to +2.

I work at Lafayette. We play Lehigh tomorrow. Both teams stink. Both have a hard time scoring. But Lafayette is on the come up. Freezing temps for the game tomorrow. I'm taking Lafayette -5 and the under. Other than that...I think Illinois covers the -17.5. And UCLA ML.

Here are my placed bets:
Michigan -17.5
Michigan - Illinois Over 41.5
Northwestern +17.5 @ Purdue
Miami Florida +19 @ Clemson
Maryland +27 home to OSU
North Carolina -21.5 home to Ga Tech
UCLA +2 home to USC
Baylor +2.5 home to TCU

would love KY over GA… but..
South Carolina over TN, a bonus, but quite unlikely.
Indiana over the Spartans.. one can dream…
Terps over Nuts… an even nicer dream.
Kaos in the West, because Kaos is great ( and an arch enemy)
UCLA over USC because both fans in the Rose Bowl will appreciate it.
I like 42 - 27…

Watch, JJ will have his best passing game of the season. ILLINI will be trying to stop the run, so may be the WR will be open.

Illinois’s corners may be pretty weak so it may happen to an extent.
