I love a good junk post. This reminds me of the old days on the playground soccer field. That story is for another day, though. Not the time or place.

Upon reflection, San Diego's "First 25 Fans Get a Player-Worn Item" promotion would have gone off better if management hadn't left it up to the players to decide which piece of equipment to give away.

I'm not a fan of putting numbers on the front of baseball uniforms. They clutter them up. These uniforms would be a lot better without them.

As an umpire, I like the number on the front, but these jerseys are too busy. The solid stripe down the buttons is too much. I'm not a huge fan of multi-letter emblems on the chest either. A simple one letter or write out the whole thing across the chest. Just my epinion.
