I wonder if TP feels sorry for this guy.

Or maybe his student ID?

I love how he spells Stephfon. As if having a ph or an f is not enough. He needs both.

That was the Lantern headline after the '07 BCS Title game

Well? Did she say yes?
September 9th, 2009 at 12:36 AM ^
Of course she did she's from Ohio.

Let's all convince ourselves this could never happen in Michigan.

That's a fair point. Michigan is just as redneck-ish as most of Ohio, certainly the majority of Southerners in search of jobs in the 30's and 40's ended up in the Detroit area. The farmland that dominates the state is pretty hickish. And that's ignoring the fact that Detroit, Flint, Saginaw, Benton Harbor, etc are essentially large ghettos.
But the problem is, since there are two BCS teams in state (and Notre Dame sitting all of 10 miles from the state line), it's much harder to identify U-M with the entire state. Where this story to happen in, say, Grand Rapids people would likely make "lol probably a Sparty" jokes here and "must have a scUM degree" jokes on Spartan Tailgate. Ohio suffers because the entire state is associated with the school... maybe if Cincy can develop into a consistent BCS team perceptions might change.

on T.V.'s "Dumbest Criminals" I'll eat my jock. People that pull stunts like that should have a mandatory 10 year extension on their prison term. Call it the "Dumb Ass" ammendment to the criminal code.

Now I understand why OSU fans treat UM fans so badly when they go to Columbus for the game; it's just a form of foreplay.
