My tickets for EMU

Submitted by house of pain on
Since it is my first UM game, i bought two tickets for EMU. They are in section 41 row 82. I know these probaly aren't the greatest seats in the stadium, but can anyone tell me(if they know) if they are halfway decent seats?. And i will we in AA on the 18th. Any suggestions for restaurants and/or bars would be greatly appreciated.

every seat in the big house is good my friend. not even kidding. I've been from the end zone to the corners to the 12th row at the 20 yard line to the very top row and many more and they were all good seats.

Depends on what kind of bar you're looking for, personally I'm a big fan of Charlies on South U (huge outdoor patio and monster fish bowls). There are lots of good bars down Main Street too but if you're looking to stay close to campus Charlies or The Brown Jug are good choices. Or if you're really into beer check out Ashley's on State St.

I'm going to be staying at the Kensington inn. Im not goin to mind exploring AA at all. A good sports bar would do just fine, if available. I do enjoy beer though.

Ashleys like others have said is great especially if you like trying different kinds of beers. Good Time Charley's is a great place to go as well. My buddies and I go there almost every Friday before home games and sit on the porch and have a "Longest Island." Brown Jug is another good place to visit for a beer. If you are down on Main St. I would suggest Connor O'Neils, great irish pub. By the way your seats will be fine. Don't let the large row number scare you.

Another vote for Ashleys, Brown Jug, and Connor O'Neils....Dominic's still around? I heard there was a pretty cool little place called "eve" near the farmers market. Re Seats. I have 2 tix in section 44, halfway up, and other tickets in section 36, I always sit in the endzone seats with a group of friends....

Ann Arbor Brewing if you like local micro-brews. All the beer is great, the food so-so. Grizzly Peak has fairly good beer but better food.

I've been in the first and last rows and plenty of rows between, and I agree: there really aren't bad seats. ...Unless you're sitting in the last row wearing a metal helmet during a lightning storm, as I was during the last lightning-delayed game. But I'm still here.

I get some funny comments (and some comments that were funny the first time...), and I get my picture taken occasionally (once by the parent of a player). I already get a lot of odd looks thanks to my limp, so I figured I might as well add something else for people to look at.
