More painful to watch: football team or BBall lately?

Holy shit. This is a purely disgusting display. It doesn't help that we all had pretty high expectations prior to conference play. With football, we expected a drop....but it was far worse than we anticipated. The burning question - which team is worse to watch?

Both teams showed complete lapses of cognitive reality at times and it cost them wins. Tonight's game was much like Illinois, Purdue and NW in football from a defensive standpoint. Fball and Ball have proven, without defense you WILL suck!

stop firing up 3's every time down the floor for the most part and use deshawn down low! it might not work every time but at least they will be able to play the inside out game, just like PSU did tonight. also JB needs to play gibson and sims together. yes we all know that gibson sucks right now but it will give the team a little more size out on the floor when they are getting killed by bigger teams. it was sad trying to watch novack trying to gaurd cornley (sp?).

Football I have no idea why we have a poor B'ball team year after year. Much smaller schools with far less reputation seem to be able to get it right. Constant losing over decades has numbed me to the B'ball results. I have no idea why anyone cares (at any U) that their team gets into the NCAA tourney with a virtual guarantee to lose in the first or second round. Yes, it would be great if we did get into the tourney, but it is not a big deal to me(IMO).
