Michigan has made the top 10 for 2021 5* C Charles Bediako. Sam Webb said on his Michigan Recruiting Insider podcast that Michigan feels like they're in a pretty good spot with Bediako, but Webb admitted trying to get info from Bediako himself is pretty difficult. Bediako will join a slew of other Michigan targets at IMG Academy next year including Jett Howard, Jarace Walker, Jaden Bradley, and Efton Reid
This feels like classic "false hope to get clicks" with the patented huge qualifier for when they're wrong. Would love to be totally off on that though!
Not really. Michigan just feels like they're in a good spot at the moment. That doesn't mean they think they're the leader. That doesn't mean we should get our hopes up. It just means we're in a good spot for the time being with a kid who doesn't share much about his recruiting process
Unlike other sites mgoblog actually has a track record of not doing that. So nah.
Webb isn’t that type
Made my day.
All Canadians should go to Michigan.
I don't get hyped about getting into someone's top 10. I don't get excited until we're in the top 1, and even then I'm a little tempered because I don't expect it to hold.

Didn't want to start a new thread, but Makur Maker committed to Howard University today. Highest rated recruit to go to an HBCU since ESPN has been ranking players. I don't know if this will become a trend, but Josh Christopher also took an official there. I wonder if this will translate to the football field and help Wheatley and his Michigan-heavy coaching staff at Morgan State.
I think there's still a question of if Makur Maker ever steps foot on campus at Howard. He's been projected to go pro for months and has other final schools were UCLA, Kentucky, and Memphis. He's very clearly trying to get paid
Makur was/is making a larger statement here. Of course he is trying to get paid. Otherwise, I question the insinuation of the last sentence.
Michigan has not had a force with the size, athleticism and talent of Bediako in the center for a very long time-really since Tarpley. I would love to see a kid like this get paired with Dickinson to make Michigan a true inside-outside team that would dominate at both ends of the court.
