Michigan Football Parade Details
For those of you who have requested parade details:
On Wednesday, the school announced it will have a parade through campus beginning at 4 p.m. Saturday, starting at the President's House and ending at Schembechler Hall. Fans should line up along South University Drive outside the president's home and along State Street. More information will come from the school regarding the parade, though wintry weather is expected this weekend.
Also, the Champions Circle Collective will host the celebration honoring the 2023 University of Michigan Football National Championship Team on Saturday (Jan. 13) at Crisler Center beginning at 7 p.m. The reserved seats are $30 for the upper bowl and $60 for the lower bowl with all proceeds going to the Champions Circle Collective, which directly benefits our student-athletes.
The event at Crisler Center will be televised on the Big Ten Network. The doors will open at 6 p.m.

I better put a couple lawn chairs on State Street tomorrow.

Champions collective, huh? That's a great idea. I hope a lot of people can pony up and enjoy it.

Anyone with points who can't attend want to request tickets for my son and I? Would like to come up from Cincy, will make an additional NIL donation in your name on top of ticket price.

Check with Stephen King Jr. He's got two billion points. He could arrange a personal dinner with Santa. Hell, he could arrange a personal dinner for you and your kid with Biden. Yeah, MGoPoints are that big a deal...

I’ll give it a try and let you know if I have any luck.
But all donors between 1-499 priority points can buy up to 4 tix after 1pm tomorrow. So I’m kinda expecting the servers to fail or for the celebration to be sold out by 105pm (or both) by the time I get thru.
EDIT
Tickets were sold out when I went in.

It will be cold, snowy, and beautiful on Saturday. Perk up.

How will Saturday’s weather compare to The Game in ‘21?
January 11th, 2024 at 9:49 AM ^
If you're a Michigan fan it will be a light dusting. If you're a bucknut it will seem like a blizzard.

Looks like Ann Arbor is set to get about 3 -5 inches of snow on Friday night, but that should be done by 4 on Saturday. Temps in the 20s and also windy, so yeah, it's going to be a little chilly out on the parade route. But screw all that. Bundle up and show up! This is Michigan fergodsakes!

Weather in West Michigan isn’t going to allow me to make that drive but hoping the locals pack the streets.

My earliest vivid memory of anything Michigan football related is being 11 years old and watching Charles Woodson with his Heisman trophy in the championship parade. I don't think I can find any words to describe how this feels to be seeing another parade. I just still can't believe they did!

Wish they would detail the activities at Crisler.
