Michigan's passing game
I was in Section 15 row 5 and it was clear all game that Eastern was loading the box up. They had one on one on the outside all day long. The only time they really went for it was when TForce threw it to Stonum and it looked like pass interference. I am curious as to why they didn't exploit that. Any thoughts?

We got 380 yards on the ground. Why bother?

They didn't really need to.

but we won't get that kind of success running when conference play starts so I figured it would be beneficial to try out the deep ball. Btw, Charissa Miller is way hotter than Erin Andrews. Seeing her in person is amazing.

You are really establishing yourself as a dork with this thread.

No reason to degrade someone for asking a question.

Sometimes good comments
Sometimes errant jab to the head.

I usually down-vote for that creepy avatar he used to have.

i think they did it because emu was very weak against the run when they played army and northwestern

"Why would you ask a dumb question like that" ?
In a Lloyd tone of voice

My favorite Lloyd quote, I'll always upvote for that.

When your rushing yards are higher than the other team's total yards, why throw?

down play the win. It was a great game. It was just an observation. They've been so balanced their first two games and this one they seemed to shy away from the pass.

didn't have to throw to blow EMU out - why bother.
They could have ran every play and still won by 4 tds.

Here's a thought.
I have a date the next thirty nights with the finalist for the Miss Universe title. Why don't I go down the street and check out the cashiers?
When what you have is working, work it. No need to do anything else for the moment.

for 2nd and 3rd stringers, perhaps that's it.
September 19th, 2009 at 7:22 PM ^
As far as second stringers go... Robinson did not look as bad as his two picks may look in the stats. The first one should never have happened for that inc right before it and well the second, bad throw, good read, it happens.

I thought Denard threw both picks off his back foot, the drop he stepped into the throw. I would be a little leery of Denard throwing the ball down the middle of the field if i were RR.

It was a blowout... plus running runs the clock down - why not just run?
