"March Madness Ends: Who You Got?!" Open Game Thread (And Drinks...Duh!).

Let's do this.  Tip off is coming up.  All you EST people are probably mad and climbing into bed, though!  It is a late start and a bit ridiculous.  Thanks Phoenix.

Definitely rooting for Gonzaga.  I have UNC winning in a bracket entered in a Craft beer-pool but I'm not sure anything that great would come to me anyway.  Ergo, Go Gonzaga.  Hoping for a fun game, regardless.  No way last year gets replicated but a good game nonetheless is all we can hope for.

Also describe in great detail what's being poured as well, obvi.  Lot's of 2017 KBS I imagine?!

We should just start cheating.  Fuck it.

It pays off in basketball.  It pays off in football.

And ultimately, is it even cheating anyway if nobody cares and they don't enforce the rules?

At some point, watching all these dirty teams pull down championships just makes you feel foolish for following the rules.

Yep.  Given the current state of the NCAA, there is literally nothing a program can do to jeopardize its future.

Hell, PSU fostered a child rapist for two decades and won a Big Ten Title four years later.  I honestly would be in favor of Harbaugh and Beilein cheating in every way possible.

If watching this game doesn't make you appreciate Beilein a little more then nothing will. Beilein plays a fun wide open brand of basketball that you don't see at many other schools. We may not always win, but you probably won't have to gouge out your eyes after the game.

Please stop playing games in stadiums. Noone could hit a shot tonight. Yes the refs called too many fouls but to say the calls stopped the flow and that's why show weren't falling...

I thankfully didn't watch the last ten minutes

It was a horrible basketball game.  Nobody could hit a FG or free throw.  Fouls all over the place.  It was ref induced drama.  Terrible.  And terrible because I took second in my bracket pool due to total points.  I had 161.  The other guy had 138.  Thanks FG shooting.  You suck.

Yeah, me too.

I worked with a guy from North Carolina in the mid '90s.  He was extremely arrogant about North Carolina and extremely dismissive about Michigan, even though Michigan had just played in 3 National Championships in 5 years.

He was a complete asshole and it got on my nerves.

It felt like watching a Minnesota MSU game. A bunch of chuckers. We could have beaten either of those teams tonight, except for the fact we would have been out-rebounded by 20.

winning this game was kind of like surviving the bubonic plague during the dark ages. Yeah you survived and that's awesome but the whole thing kinda sucked.

A tournement of parity in which two medicore teams played a sloppy game ref'd by guys who called what they shouldn't have and let the obvious slide by.  Just because the score was close doesn't mean this was a good game.  Neither team was deserving of being National Champion.

A lot of teams sitting at home just shaking their heads.
