Looks like Urban doesn't mind satellite camps after all
If he REALLY thought it was harmful, and such a bad idea, and a real waste . . . he would not think it was a comepetitive disadvantage without them.
Not every 3-4-5 star kigh school kid in Florida will play for Miami, FSU or Florida. Many of these kids can't afford to go around the country on their own dime. Meeting coaches from across the country face-to-face is a big deal and really helpful for them to make their decisions about where to take their official visits. I don't see how this is bad for football, the NCAA or (especially) the kids getting recruited.
I CAN see how it hurts recruiting in ACC and SEC. This is entirely about Saban - and the rest of the South and SouthEast - protecting his turf (that is partly his job). I wonder how strongly the B1G feels about this, and how strongly the other power 5 feel about it.
Will the oposition to this program outweigh the support?
hes hunched over like he is hiding something from the athletic director and hes dying to get it off his chest!! fucking scumbag. yeah, one word
Man I'm looking forward to that game next Fall. If Michigan manages to come out on top, that is going to be one epic handshake Harbaugh will give to Meyer. I'm hoping something along the lines of a "what's your deal?" kind of moment.
