Lavert Hill to the Chiefs (UDFA)
Not a bad place to land with the defending champs. Good luck to him.
Chiefs couldn't be a more perfect fit for the guy. Good for him.

I look for him to land - if not with the Chiefs - somewhere in the NFL. Good luck to him
is Shea the last one not on a team?
CFL here we come!
The CFL is, for QBs: 1. Not that easy to catch on with; 2. For a few, a great place to have a career.
Shea *could* get a look there. But a lot of guys that you would think, "sure, they'll work out in the CFL" turn out not to catch on well there. The CFL has a good history of guys building long careers as excellent QBs, but they have to actually be good to do it.
I believe that CFL teams are limited in the number of Americans they can have on the team. They want a player who shows promise, not just possibilities.

This is correct, and one of the reasons college guys don’t just all flock there.
Still, a lot of guys get practice-squad looks up there. I imagine Shea would get a look if he doesn’t catch on with a roster down here.
Wow, I had no idea. Canadians should be glad the NHL didn't discriminate.
Fans of elite professional hockey should be glad about that.
Should have spent less time golfing and more time organizing football practices with the players.

This is the easy comment to make, but the real answer is he shouldn't have got injured on the first play of the season. Don't know if he ever really recovered during the season. Might have affected his performance a bit.

Was that the excuse for 2018 also, because he wasnt very good that year either.
Last time I checked, getting injured doesn't make you make the wrong read every other play
Well as many CB’s they lost in free agency this is a good landing spot for him to make the squad.

Good for him. I thought KC was going to take him with their last seventh rounder, but they took a kid from Tulane instead.
LeVert will make a roster I believe. I figured he was approximately a 4-5th round talent that got overlooked because he has good-not-great measureables and solid, but unspectacular testing numbers.
His instincts are excellent and his technique is very good (has been elite in the past, but he grabbed a little too much last year to maintain that assessment IMO). I don't think (although he could prove me wrong) he has the makeup of a legitimate starting NFL corner, but he is definitely draft worthy, and he can absolutely be an impactful platoon DB on an NFL team.
For those teams in the market for a DB that passed in the 6th and 7th, I think they missed a value pick.
I always root for PSL kids to make it. Well, other than that Gholston clown.
Anyway, best of luck to Vert!
Chiefs currently have Henne, Fisher (CMU), Wylie (EMU), Clark, Danna and Hill.
Always good to see Michigan and directional MACtion players!
