Josh Furman announcement delayed due to weather
Through out yesterday and today, I've been updating my laptop expecting to see the news break on Josh Furman, but no news has come, and upon searching this morning all I found was an article titled "ITF EXTRA: Possible delay for Furman," on Rivals.
That really got me looking and come to find out the game got delayed due to bad weather this weekend. Josh is now set to make his announcement on Monday. Here is a good video interview to keep you while you wait for him to declare Go Blue!

Looks like the game was moved to Monday due to weather. Also here is a good interview with Furman that you all may have missed.

but the gist of things is the Baltimore and DC area was blasted by upwards of 2 feet of snow. Some school districts are already closed Monday and Tuesday so there's no guarantee the game will come off on Monday.

I searched for another Josh Furman thread, and went back 6 pages on the board, but thank you for the update.

Why in the hell does he have to delay due to weather? He is announcing a school not flying a plane.

+1. This comment made me laugh even though I totally understand why he's waiting.

Like just announce where you are going. People will remember your name a lot more if you make plays on the field. Not try to hype your school decision.

always maintained he would annonce at the Crab Bowl and that's what he is intent on doing. Give him credit for being a man of his word besides a freakish athlete. Sounds like a Michigan man to me.

I like it when guys go public at these types of games (even ones that may not be played). It's national pub! It's THEIR moment!
I mean--what? Who'd have ever thought that young guys like to have some fun?

As of Sunday just before 5 pm, the Crab Bowl is still a go on Monday evening.
Update at 5:20pm: just to make it clear: this is not a slam dunk to happen. As an indication, Federal government offices in DC will be closed on Monday because of the weather. This is the first weather-related closure in more than six years.

Even Mother Nature refuses to allow UM fans to feel any joy.

The game is on -- unless "the field ices over".

You're all over this Crab Bowl. Are you going to the game or are you just following it closely?

Does anyone know if there will be a stream online of this game? Snow games are always fun to watch.
