Hood & HAIL shirts

Submitted by maineandblue on

U of M Club of Portland (Oregon; pronounced "Ore-guhn," not "Ore-gone," Brian!) is selling Hood & HAIL shirts to raise money for our scholarship fund. Ricky and the crew at Ann Arbor Tees have been wonderful in making these shirts for us, and we just opened the online store

They've been selling like hot cakes at our game-watching events at The Thirsty Lion, and we figured/hoped that others around the country might be interested. Whether you have some connection to the Pacific Northwest (or another mountain state) or just like the image of a badass mountain and an evergreen to go along with your Michigan pride, this may be the shirt for you (or your partner or kiddo)!

Ann Arbor Tees gave us a great price, and all of our proceeds go towards a scholarship fund for Portland area students who want to attend the best university in the world. The web store just got launched, and in the next few days we'll be adding a bunch of other styles (long sleeves, various hoodies/sweatshirts, baby/toddler stuff).

We think it's a really sweet design...hope you do too!

I have the large men's/unisex shirt and it fits like a typical large. No shrinking issues. The only feedback I've gotten is that the women's shirts do shrink a bit, so for those you may want to order a size up unless you're ok with a tight fitting shirt.

My story about Michigan Football:

Chile is good. Add beans and hot sauce. Mmmmmm! Every try it with cheese? Wowie, so delicious. Have some bread with it too.

The alumni club of Chicago has a pretty great "HAIL" shirt right now featuring the Sears / Willis Tower in place of the "I" - personally think it is fantastic.

I can't figure out how to embed, but you can find it with a quick scroll on their Facebook page...

I'm a native Portlander (Reynolds High class of 1979, yay!), now living in Kansas.  Heading over to the website RIGHT NOW for one of those shirts.  And supporting local kids at UM as well?  Double win.

I catch a game at least once a year up in Portland at the Thirsty Lion.  Greatest place to watch a game on the west Coast.  I met some wonderful alum there the past few years.  I will be up there for UM's potential bowl game over the holidays and hope that there are some shirts left!

Go Blue!
