High praise for Denard from Fred Jackson
Fred Jackson in the Detroit News today said that in his 18 years at Michigan, he's never seen anyone so fast, and that "I mean, it's scary. Every time you miss him, strike up the band, it's a touchdown." That and other high praise in the article:

if it referred to potential. Most people here were over the moon about him as well, and I think given his injuries and our early season horrific line play, he had a very good freshman season.

lil wayne is a foot shorter, has his face covered in tattoos, and is generally just ugly as shit. i would prefer we didn't compare shoelace to such a character

Of course we won't know until we get a game or two under our belt, but I see no reason not to expect to see both during pretty much every game all season.

To have a threat like this is beyond awesome. Now if the o-line has improved like they say, we could be seeing a significantly better offense this season.
Just a thought - If he's this fast, and Tate wins the starting job due to better passing/familiarity with the offense, how long before Denard moves to WR? If he's that talented you gotta have him on the field, right?
