The nook color is $250. I think I'm going to get the Kindle w/ free 3g and wi-fi. It is only $189 compared to $250 for the nook color and $500+ for the ipad.
I just have to figure out how to do all that technical converting of files and stuff now.

I rock the kindle app for the ipad, but you can't view files, even if they are kindle format, unless you directly buy them from Amazon. Only complaint.

I had no idea what your were talking about so I googled it. I'll have to order a copy and it is a pretty cheap for a book.
Thanks for the recommendation.

No problem. It is a strange work, but very fun once you get started. Don't give up on it too early. I almost did.

I need to broaden my reading scope. I read way too many non-fiction econ based books. Got to get more into good fiction books.

Powell's has a list that I usually trust for books.
Here it is:

On that list I have read the Matt Bell and the Gary Lutz, and both were worth it.

You should see the original in Czech with subtitles, the voices are much better, but then you'll have to be able/sober enough to read. This english-language trailer will clue you in.

The movie actually looks half decent. The animation reminds me of the video for Float from Flogging Molly

I am pretty much awake during the night for these two weeks as I "sleep" on the couch with Australian Open tennis action on all night. Certainly doesn't make it easy to go to class though..

I love the time difference. It's almost 2 AM out west, and I've got an entire sleepless night of early-round tennis ahead of me. This type of non-sleep is so much better than the non-sleep I got during the coaching search.

It would be nice if I can somehow wean myself off of this site for a while after NSD. I've been neglecting a lot of shit lately.

Look at it this way... if you pay attention to the other shit, you'll be neglecting this site. NSD is only the beginning!
