He didn't even mention MSU or tuos either. I wouldn't worry about any of that. He did mention that he talks to Dior Mathis a little bit. That Cass Tech connection is pretty damn strong. Also, isn't one of Will's teammates pretty high on UM.
Jonathan Hankins likes Michigan but doesn't currently have an offer.
Gholston doesn't really need to visit UM or MSU - he's at those schools all the time.

Gholston has visited numerous times so why would he use an official to come here? Use the officials to see places you most likely wouldn't otherwise.
There's a vid of Will and Dior talking together. They mostly talk about Miami and Michigan in that one.
Hard to say for sure what these guys are leaning towards.
Little worried about Dior and Will talking about Miami, first thought was that Dior is recruiting for Miami. Has been a childhood favorite of his. Regardless it's an upward battle for 2 of the top guys in the state.
It's really not an uphill battle for Mathis. Michigan is in a very good place with him.
why people keep worrying about miami for mathis
well, didn't he say something along the lines of miami being his dream school as well as his childhood favorite. i know that was a while ago, and he has yet to commit to them, but still. that's a pretty strong statement to make.
you along with the other brian and tomvh seem to have a lot of inside info in regards to recruiting, so maybe you can shed some light as to how and why the situation has changed.
With some of his recent comments it seems as though Miami has fallen a ways, and that MI is doing well with him. In that vid with him and Will his biggest complement was the weather. So I wouldn't worry too much right now.
If Miami was REALLY his "dream" school, he would've committed to them seven months ago when the scholarship offer arrived in the mail. The reason he didn't? Because a Michigan offer arrived, too.
people need to stop getting their hopes up re: big will 2.0.
i got a certified grade a recruiting gut instinct, and it's telling me he's a sparty 100%.
gut instincts aside, all the readily available info on gholston indicates that there are way too many obstacles for us to overcome. southeastern is rapidly turning into a sparty pipeline, and he lives with his coach archie collins who i understand is either a former sparty or a big time supporter.
Wow. Sparty could get a superstar defensive end. Not to mention that he's a probable 5 star.
it was bound to happen eventually. correct me if i'm wrong, but they haven't had a five star since charles rogers back in '00 so it's almost been a decade.
next five star up for sparty - the kid charles rogers had back in high school with the girlfriend who stabbed him.
