Still a nice rebounding performance against that team. I may need a new source for stats.

Yeah, KenPom doesn’t agree with either of us, giving PSU one additional OREB and taking a DREB around from Michigan (compared to ESPN). That pushes PSU up to 24%, but I’ll still take it — esepcially since 5 of these are team OREBs, meaning that the miss went out of bounds off of Michigan (example: the weird Robinson block / Rahkman touch / whistle play). While it’s still akin to a turnover, at least you’re forcing the team to take it in from out of bounds, as opposed to a live-ball OREB that will often lead to a putback or a kick-out to an open shooter.
Michigan up to 20 in KenPom, BTW, pending other results, and up to a 44% chance for a win at Maryland Saturday. That’s a better chance than they had today, so let’s hope that means a bigger win. :)
