Speaking of which - do they ever reply the 93 National Semifinal against Kentucky? For my money that was one of the greatest games ever played and I dont remember EVER seeing that one up on BTN.
I just noticed for the first time the players' shorts - those iconic ones that everyone owned - weren't uniform. Most of them had the "M" at the base of the short, but some players (like Jimmy King) had the "M" halfway down. Funny that this wasn't corrected even as late as the '93 Final Four.
Another game I wish they'd play mroe often is the 89 semifinal against Illinois. I have no idea why they wouldn't. Two Big Ten teams in the Final Four play a game that is decided in the last seconds? Why wouldn't you want to show that.

See last night's BTN "Greatest Game" showing the 1976 National Championship game against Indiana they enjoy repeating.
That was my favorite Michigan basketball team. It was hard enough to endure the game in 1976.

ESPN Classic has played that one before. I torrented both the 89 game and the 93 Semis from Mgovideo back in the day. The 1989 game had been an ESPN classic rebroadcast.
