Ekpe Udoh

I'm not a big fan of the "what if", but where do you see this team if Ekpe Udoh stays? I think he gives us at the very least a better presence down low and we compete for the B10 title (beat OSU at least once, maybe even msu)

There's no question in my mind that this team is at least 1-2 games better with Udoh. With him, Sims doesn't have to post up against 7 footers, and Zack Gibson hardly sees the light of day. It's impossible to say what specific games he would have helped in, but you are never better off by losing a starter.

He actually transferred to Baylor. Really weird move. Last year, when we had no idea how to play the 1-3-1, Udoh's shotblocking was often the only way we could get stops. When he transferred, I was terrified of the prospect of us playing defense without him. But while we have missed his interior D, the rest of the team is much, much improved at playing the zone, and on the whole we're a better defensive team than last year. Yeah, it'd be nice to have him, and we'd probably have a couple more wins, but we're getting by.

I really hope you're kidding. Are you? If not, these comments are the reason you were listed as worst poster. I think you are a terrible poster but it's almost like you really try to suck at this whole "internet" thing. Is that what you're doing? Do you try to suck at the internet?

Dude I really hope you are kidding. The guy just asked a "What if" question. This site is about asking questions and having other people chime in with their answers for the sake of a nice commentary. If you don't like this guys posts you can just not click on them. We are all UM fans here and there is no need to be a dickhead about a question you don't like.

Who cares? Udoh, in my opinion, was Air Georgia Lite, and we all saw where that got us in four years (one NIT title! Wahoo!). What I am really wondering, is what if Graham Brown was 3 years younger, or could be used in some sort of time machine?
