Andy Maddox commits to Michigan.

This young man posted that he committed to Michigan.  I’ve looked at the internet for awhile and can’t find any ranking for Him.  It appears he is from Kansas and is a QB.  I looked a Rivals, Scout and ESPN and found nothing.  There is some info on HUDL but even that site doesn’t give a ranking.  Sorry I couldn’t find anything else.

He had a good couple of years with the Steelers.  With Kordell Stewart, if the Steelers were down by 2 scores, the game was over.  Maddox replaced Steward as the starting QB.  Maddox had some great games and the Steelers could comeback from large deficits when Maddox was doing his gunslinger impersonation.

Not the son of Greg Maddux or the son of Tommy Maddox, but he is the son of Mike Maddox, member of the 1988 Kansas National Champion Basketball team and captain of 91-92 National Runner Up Basketball team.  Kid has great DNA, character, and potential.  Probably a long shot but a positive addition to your program.

Didn't really feel like it deserved a new thread, but there's some recruiting momentum that is immediate.

Steve Wiltfong and Bryce Marich crystal ball'd a 4 star linebacker in the class of 2020 named Ethan West. He's 6'4, 225, smart player out of Virginia. He can also play tight end, but I think he's better sized for linebacker at the next level.

Wiltfong also changed his crystal ball for Zach Harrison from Ohio State to Cloudy. This essentially means he doesn't have a read on where he'll go. This is a big deal, because it seems like the more we go without him committing to Ohio State, the better chance we have. And with a performance like last night, and an atmosphere last night, it's very well possible Michigan could be neck and neck with Ohio State.

Trevor Keegan had a great visit, My confidence in his decision hasn't changed, but I was told that Ohio State isn't even in the running, it's either going to be Michigan or Penn State.

We still lead for Harrison Bailey, I would expect his decision to come in the somewhat near future.

I know UM is trying to get George Karlaftis to flip from Purdue, and I didn't see him on the visitors list, but his younger brother (?) was there.  Yanni Karlaftis is a class of 21 unranked OLB, & had good things to say about UM. 6'3" 205 lb. sophomore in HS & if he's anything like his brother, he will probably be strong like ox.
