Good interview. Like how he says he wants to score on every play. Also like his explanation on the RB being 8 yards back and running down hill.
That's one thing I don't care for about the shotgun. The RB gets the handoff from a standing position. The pistol seems to be the best of both worlds.
To me, getting the RB the ball with a head of steam Ives the RB a better ability to hit the pile and keep moving forward (ala Mike Hart). So many times last year Smith would take the hand off from the gun and be taken down before he got moving.

Huge is a jackass. That is all.
and while I really miss AA, I am so happy to get away from the Detroit metro area and what may be the country's worst collection of sports talk show hosts... pathetic.
Finally a post that's worth while!
How much is while worth?
one internet, depending on the exchange rate.
Too bad Huge was the guy asking the questions. I wish there was a program I could use to make Huge sound like he was sucking helium out of a balloon, without affecting Borges' voice.
I also can't stand huge (anyone else make the comparison to biff from back to the future?) but that was a fantastic interview. Borges is up-front and gives fantastic explanation plus, (gotta give him credit) huge actually did ask some good questions.
Thanks for posting!
I'm not a big HUGE fan but he is a great interviewer.
One of my friends was interviewed by Huge a few weeks back, and said he's actually not as huge a douche as he sounds. Backhanded compliment maybe, but it improved my view of him, even if just a little bit.
I worked for WBBL in Grand Rapids for a brief time and had a chance to work alongside of Huge and Bakita. Huge's show is all an act. He is actually a great guy -- his antics are all about ratings. I'm not a big fan of his show but he is a nice person off the mic. It's just about who he is with and if he's on the air.
That's cool. My friend never thought that highly of him and was persuaded a bit in a short time of chatting off-mic. Wish he could tone it down just a bit on the air though, haha.
Anyone catch the John Madden reference in there. John basically told Huge that if you had multiple backs fighting for the job then you didn't truly have a #1 tailback.......Duh. I don't mind huge, but Iwould never quote any football information from John Madden.
You do realize that Madden has one of, if not the highest, winning perctanges of all NFL coaches.
