Tell me when I can wake up.

Wake up, hell. I'm going to sleep after thinking about that coaching staff.

Belichik and Brady both quit together after going out on another Super Bowl win - Brady to be QB coach, and Belichik to be special teams coach.

He has been in Michigan Stadium twice.
He was on the Miami (NTM) staff in 1995 and the Illinois staff in 1996.

He would certainaly maximize our talent on offense

Sean Payton grew up 45 minutes outside Chicago, and played at EIU. If he's looking for a new team, I think he'll end up with the Bears.

An interesting notion - certainly is different than the usual litany of the usual suspects.
Since Nebraska has thrown down the gauntlet of what they will accept (9-3 is not good enough), we should recall the last time they ousted a 9-3 coach and grabbed a pro coach looking for a change in scenery (Bill Calahan fleeing the Oakland Raiders)

That was kind of the opposite of our RR experiment, wasn't it? A traditional option offensive team transitioning to a west coast offense yielded about the same result that we had here. Timelines were different, but end results were similar.

Sean Payton is a great coach, but he makes $8 milion a year. I don't see us paying that much for anyone except Harbaugh.

Ummm Ace Williams is the author...

Defensive physicallity shouldn't be an issue if we get him. Or at least they'll be compensated for it.

Chatsports is Ace Williams. Cumong guys.
I mean, sure give him a call but the prospect of not 1 but 2 highly successful NFL coaches - this one with no alma mater connection interested in UM is a bit over the top. But sure why not.

Ace's last scoop was John Harbaugh will accept when offered on Sep 22.
