I'm guessing they will. That's entirely my opinion though. I think they keep the red shirt off of Malzone as they will need him for depth.

I think Gentry doesn't get red shirted if he comes in and is immediately battling for the starting role but I think that's going to go to Morris or Rudock.

Good. Get him on campus early. The more time to learn the better. I love that he will be redshirting as well. It will be wonderful when the day comes that we consistantly have starting quarterbacks that are in their 4th and 5th years in the program.

Great plan for Peters. He will come in, focus on his frame, strength, and fundamentals. I really like this move. Exciting times are coming!!!

Enroll early and graduate in 3 years. That why if things don't work out in your favorite in this loaded (numbers wise) QB Derby, you can transfer after your RS Sophomore year and still have TWO years of grad school eligibility.

A Michigan degree and basically 2 guaranteed years as a starter unless you're silly enough to transfer somewhere where you aren't going to start. That as a "worst case" is a pretty awesome deal.

I'm sure if you can tell a kid "hey, best case you can graduate with an M-degree and you're a 3 year starter and you're off to the NFL as the #1 draft pick and worst case you can graduate with an M-degree and go play 2 years at Cincinnati or Northern Illinois," it wouldn't be a bad thing.
