It's amazing how much these last two game will completely change the narrative about this season.

Right now, everyone is basically saying "man, if you would have told me UM would be in the race for the division championship basically controling their destiny with two weeks to go, I would have said 'no way'.  This is amazing what Harbaugh has done'.

If UM wins both, or even just one game, then it's a 9-3 year with some quality wins that exceeds everyone's expectations.

But if UM loses these last two weeks, which is very much possible at this point, especially with Glasgow out, the season becomes an expected 8-4 with a losing streak to end the season and loses to both rivals.  That's basically just meeting most expectations to the fan base for this season.  That's a pretty huge swing on perception of the program.

Well Hoke brought Mattison and turned the defense around overnight. OSU shredded it but I think most of us shrugged that off as a fluke. Other than that the defense was a pretty solid unit. And most of us used the excuse that Borges just needed to get his guys and install his system. I still think you could logically argue Hoke was going to succeed at that time.

Moot point though. What happened happened, and we've got the best coach in football now.

I was predicting 7-5. 8-4 is the most likely outcome without a signature victory for Harbaugh. Yes 8 wins is nice but at this point I would be happy with 7-5 if one of the wins was over Staee or OSU. Still, I am fine seeing incremental progress instead of the smoke and mirrors of Hoke's first season.

I buy them every year from Lucas Oil Stadium...face value and auto renewal. Every year but last I had a great time watching a Sparty No!, then the Huskers get their official introduction to B1G football, and finally the Buckeyes outthinking themselves out of a B1G title by refusing to give the ball to Carlos Hyde when he was averaging 6 yards a carry. The downtown and stadium are a great venue, and I look forward to it every year.
