Right behind an unnecessary comma.

The comma was for reading purposes. In the song it was: "where in the world is (pause) Carmen San Diego"

Then you should have gone with an ellipsis. And I don't mean three periods (...); I mean an ellipsis (…).

You are being somewhat overly anal on spacing. I would not say there is a widespread consensus on whether spaces are acceptable in ellipses. It's not an authoritative source but check out Wikipedia.
The comma used in the title was a bit strange, but if you're expecting blog posts to comply with the Chicago Manual of Style, then I think you're going to be continually disappointed.
Perhaps you could find a football-obsessed grammar instructor interested in being your penpal. The two of you could trade letters written with feather quill pens and seal your envelopes with wax. That way, you wouldn't have to put up with the barbarians at mgoblog.

I know this has no bearing on anything other than legal documents, but the Bluebook (the most commonly used citation and part-time style guide used by lawyers) requires three periods with a space between each. Four if the omitted material ends the sentence, plus a few other special rules.
Hello . . . hello.

I don't see any coachless, recruitment destroying, Harbaugh-losing, desperate to not become Notre Dame athletic directors in there...do you?

How and why an entire house of college men, as in me and my roommates, would ditch their afternoon classes just to watch this show? It was as good as it was bad... and it was soooo bad.

Because it's an amazing piece of American TV history.
January 10th, 2011 at 11:30 AM ^
To catch up on U.S. Geography, obviously.
P.S. Does anyone else think DB looks like GWB in this photo?

So does that make Brian and the mgoblog community the ACME Crimenet?

Outstanding. I've created (adopted) the word "awesomeness" to describe your product, sir. I can't get enough.
One request - can you somehow throw a gratuitous pic of Lloyd Brady in that logo somewhere?
January 10th, 2011 at 12:16 PM ^
You're awesome. If I was a woman, I'd ask if I could have your baby.

lattes in Europe. He sure as hell hasn't hired a coach, as our recruiting class implodes.

Who cares about recruiting? Flight tracker is way more fun.

Dave is Shomer Shabbos and he's lighting candles for some commemoration or other. Dave don't roll on Shabbos.

And I don't dole out compliments lightly.

Ugh, had a nightmare last night where RR went to ND, prohibition started again (no alcohol), and we still didn't have a coach... I'd like to say im strong enough that I didn't cry during that ordeal, but I'd be a petty liar. :'(
