Soccer: NC v. Louisville
Watching the first game of the final four and I have to say these teams look fricking great. I'm hoping it's because it's the first time I've seen a game on tv vs. a pixelated feed, but if Akron is as good as the two teams I'm watching now... gulp.
1-1 in the second half.
That being said, let's go blue! Super excited for the second game of the night!
disclaimer: Been drinking and didn't see a forum topic on the games tonight (which surprised me), so apologies if this is a doublepost.

No such thing as a great soccer game, boring as hell. As you can tell from great response.

... just sad, lonely troglodytes for whom I would have sympathy if not for their petulance.

Who is the lonely one, looks like your just sitting all alone in your post, hoping someone would come by and add a comment, but no. America hates soccer always have, always will. I take pity, drop in a few comments, and you give me grief.

Here is a comment:
I look forward to you being banned.
December 10th, 2010 at 10:32 PM ^
I should be banned because i disagree with you? My god man are you communist?
December 10th, 2010 at 10:40 PM ^
You should be banned because your only contribution here is moronic giberish, and you can't post without being an ass
December 10th, 2010 at 10:42 PM ^
You should be banned for not supporting any and all aspects of the University of Michigan and making obscenely ludicrious statements toward the relative popularity of soccer as a whole.

They have been trying to force soccer down americas throat for years now, and we have rejected it each time. once a kid is past the age of 10, he wants no part of it.
December 10th, 2010 at 10:46 PM ^
Thats such a crock of shit, you can only like what you like. If he doesn't like soccer he has every right to voice his opinion about it.
December 10th, 2010 at 11:06 PM ^
Voicing inflammatory and negative opinions about soccer in a thread clearly marked as soccer is not a right. Don't be ridiculous.
December 10th, 2010 at 10:42 PM ^
but I sorta like you.
December 10th, 2010 at 10:46 PM ^
really it sure didn't seem that way when Donovan scored against Algeria
December 10th, 2010 at 10:53 PM ^

explain
December 10th, 2010 at 10:46 PM ^
no need to explain. nothing says you've got to enjoy the game. I enjoy it. it's an exciting moment for Michigan Soccer. try and be happy for the guys out there in California and find it in yourself to support them.
December 10th, 2010 at 10:57 PM ^
You know what? you sold me. Give your honest opinion, don't you think the field should be half the size, to make it more exciting. GO BLUE SOCCER!
December 10th, 2010 at 10:47 PM ^
Your unsolicited opinion that "soccer is lame" has proven decisively to all observers that you have a giant penis and are awesome at everything. Thank you for this valuable contribution to the discussion.
Sadly, these attributes, while surely positives in their own right, will provide no protection against the inevitable day when Wayne Rooney has sex with your beloved grandmother in exchange for a small sum of money (what he might call a "pittance"). Sorry. Exchange rates are a bitch like that.

Both goals were beautifully done, especially the UNC goal.
December 10th, 2010 at 10:35 PM ^
Actual question: what's the over-time format for NCAA soccer?
Wait.....nevermind.
December 10th, 2010 at 10:42 PM ^
... pretty amazing finish. I think (though not certain) it goes to a golden goal format.
December 10th, 2010 at 10:49 PM ^
Yeah I knew the golden goal part but do they go to a shoot-out at some point??
December 10th, 2010 at 11:31 PM ^

So why isn't there an open thread for the michigan soccer game?
December 11th, 2010 at 12:37 AM ^
There's a liveblog on the front page.
December 11th, 2010 at 12:45 AM ^
I really should bookmark the front page and not the board, I miss out on all kinds of awesomeness.

Woohoo!
I was looking forward to a UM-Louisville final to put my bigamy to the test. (There wouldn't be much of a test, though, I'm afraid).
