Any thoughts on what seed they might be and where they might end up? Is it like softball with campus regionals where they try to keep all the schhools close geographically close.

I'm not 100% sure on the how it all works. Getting the auto bid from winning the tourny will help. Sounds like we may be anywhere from 7 to 10 seed, but again not sure. There are 48 teams in the tournament. So we could start playing anywhere. Regionally close teams that we could go to that would be nice for travel are maybe Butler or Louisville. But we will see shortly and I will look like an idiot

I think we'll be the #10 overall seed.

We are the #10 seed, and get the winner of South Florida/Central Florida game on Sunday at 2 EST at home. The #7 seed is South Carolina, so we would have to travel there if both teams win. Other seeded teams in the region are #15 Penn State and #2 Maryland.

What are USF and UCF seeded?

They aren't. Only the top 16 teams (these teams have byes in the first round) were ranked. We were the highest Big Ten team ranked. Indiana was #14, Penn State was #15, Ohio State was #16 and Michigan State is playing in the 1st round (home game vs Oakland).

Go Blue

I like our chances against either one of those two Floridian teams, especially at home. Right now the forecast has a high of 51, a little warm for November, but anything can happen weather-wise in Michigan. Go Blue!
