If we win beat MSU, we'll most likely be playing Quinnipiac or Maine in the first round as the other 2 seeds will be Big Ten teams so we can't play them. If we lose and MSU gets a 1, then one of North Dakota/Denver would be a possibility as well.
Even if we win the B1G tournament, we're almost certainly not getting higher than 10 in the pairwise (there is a 1.1% chance of getting to 8 or 9 according to CHN). So we definitely want Quinnipiac to win the ECAC which would keep that league at one bid.
Yes, though they would move things around to prevent a conference matchup in the first round. So for example, if the top 4 stays as is and PSU falls to a #4 seed, they would probably send us to Manchester and #3 BU to Allentown.
Host Penn St. is a lock for Allentown regardless of seed and if the top 3 remain as is (Minnesota - Fargo, Quinnipiac - Bridgeport and BU - Manchester), the last 1 seed is going to Allentown so that could be fun.
The TV networks can force night games for the first weekend of November (2017 Minnesota, Indiana last year, Rutgers this year). After that, both schools have to agree. So we could block a night game at PSU next year.
Penn St. getting pushed back a week removes any chance of it being a night game. Had it stayed on 11/4 it could have been (like the Rutgers game is next week).
FOX already took PSU/OSU for the Big Noon spot on 10/29 which means our MSU game will either be at 3:30 or at night. I would think that would increase the chance that our Penn State game is at noon but nothing has been announced yet.
Szczepanski and Pace were picked today in the 19th (Royals) and 20th (Blue Jays) round respectively. Not sure either will sign but also not sure if either are still committed after Bakich left.
In the last three weeks, he's interviewed with Michigan, Ohio St., Northwestern and Kansas and all four have passed. It's been reported that he was the top choice at OSU and rumored top choice here before the interview and then things changed. So there must be something that's not resonating with the bigger schools.
I've been told that Erik Bakich to Clemson will officially be announced in the next 24-48 hours. Details on the deal to come soon. (First reported by @BrandonJustice_@MichiganRivals)
I've also been told the first call for Michigan will be to Tigers Pitching Coach Chris Fetter.
Yep, first two games of the season my freshman year. It was a two day four team tournament with Eastern Michigan, Davidson and some other small school. They played Eastern on the first day and he had a ton of turnovers.
Update from MTU: @umichhockey didn't want to play a holiday tournament. Per a statement from MTU Athletic Director Suzanne Sanregret, the planners weren't changing the time. pic.twitter.com/VNnA7XOtdd

The only chance of a football/hockey weekend is if there is a home conference series on the weekend of November 4th.
With Oklahoma on the road, 2025 was already going to be a 6 home game season in the current division format (east had 4 home/5 away in odd years).
They ended up just keeping it East + UCLA in 2024 and West + USC in 2025 for who gets 5 home games.
Arkansas State is the third non-conference game in 2024. It's scheduled for 9/21 so it looks like we'll have a bye week after Texas.

The NCAA sucks but no school in the state has put a bid in to host the regionals since we did for GR in 2013.
Tickets were on sale at 9 AM but they didn't tweet until 10.

Huntzinger was at Boise St. from 2018-20, before they became a club team.
EDIT: nvm they were club in 18/19. Came back to varsity in 2020 but then covid ended the program and they went back to club.
This incoming freshman class was ranked 6th in the country and Vallimont/Fantucci were the #5 and #6.

Penn St. will be there as hosts this time so it wouldn't be as much of a takeover as last year.

8th in the thing that determines the NCAA tournament ...
Well one is currently a #2 seed and one isn't ..
12-0-0 when leading after 2 before tonight, seems pretty decent at holding leads.
Donations over 5K aren't included in the tracker so its probably already higher than what is on the website.
It's $230 because they're playing the Leafs.
Pretty sure it's technically a EMU home game that they decided to move to LCA.

Porter committed to Clemson before our 2019 CWS run even happened.
Penders is out. The last line also ...
UConn people reporting this isn't true and the tweet was just deleted so this can probably be deleted as well lol.
Schnabel is gone as well.

It’s Saban leaving MSU for LSU.
Between 2005 and 08 there were 3 B10 titles, 2 B10 tournament titles, 4 ncaa tournaments, a regional host, and a super regional appearance
Bischel interviewed at Kansas today.

Tomorrow's game has been moved up to 12 PM because of weather.
