I don't like the lack of intensity. He needs to be wearing his angry eyes.

Pad level is awful... looks very vulnerable to me.

I'm so torn about Boise State. I respect them as a team and think they're very talented, but the WAC is just God awful. They need to go independent or join a AQ conference. Big 12... get on it.
October 26th, 2010 at 10:10 PM ^
I was under the impression that BSU probably couldn't get into the Big12 if they tried. Academics, demographics, lack of any other quality sports programs, small market, etc. I personally thought the Pac10 would've been a better fit for them, but I don't know how much traction they'd get there, either. Anyway, I don't care how good people keep saying they are, they have to play a real big boy schedule, and forget about home and homes; they should go anywhere, and do whatever the hell they have to do to play big teams.
October 27th, 2010 at 1:37 AM ^
The big boys want nothing to do with them. I think they're getting shafted, because they can't play "a real big boy schedule" if no one will schedule them.

Oh my God. That woman announcer should just not talk. Ever. I don't know who she is, but for the love of football and all other things sacred, stop.
October 26th, 2010 at 10:03 PM ^
Sounds just like Pam Ward! I think i'm sexist because I can't think of any women commentators that I'm okay with.
October 26th, 2010 at 10:05 PM ^
Certainly not commentators. Now I can tolerate a few sideline reporters - Suze Kolber and Erin Andrews to name two.
October 26th, 2010 at 10:12 PM ^
Would Linda Cohn be considered a commentator? I've always thought she does a great job with whoever she's paired up with...
But she's about the only one.
October 26th, 2010 at 10:23 PM ^
I've thought she has done well (generally) in the past too. I don't know if she has ever been "in the booth" as a commentator though. I just remember her from SportsCenter.

Fumbled KO, I'll take it.
October 26th, 2010 at 10:23 PM ^
Hopefully a miracle happens and Boise loses.
October 26th, 2010 at 10:27 PM ^
I can't see Boise losing this game, but if they do, do you think they would be dropped out of the polls? I doubt they would, but with the weak schedule they play, having one loss would seem worse (to me) then having two losses to say, MSU and Iowa, for example. Maybe similar to Michigan getting dropped out of the polls from #3 after losing to an App State team that is probably on par or better than LT.

Teams apparently have forgetten that you're allowed to kick the ball.
October 26th, 2010 at 10:32 PM ^
Shhh. Don't remind Rich Rod.
October 26th, 2010 at 10:28 PM ^
Oh Louisiana Tech, why do you toy with my heart?
October 26th, 2010 at 10:36 PM ^
And just ripped it out with that fumble.
October 26th, 2010 at 10:40 PM ^
Yep. This game went from "Whoa, can they pull off the upset?" to "Yikes, this is getting ugly" real quick.
October 26th, 2010 at 10:43 PM ^
It's that the WAC sucks even more than I previously thought.
October 26th, 2010 at 10:52 PM ^
I can't help but think that if this year's Michigan played in the WAC, they would be able to get "up" for one game a year then run the table through the conference schedule.
EDIT: Replacing Boise of course.
October 26th, 2010 at 10:53 PM ^
could watch this BSU team and think "this is a top 2 team." Denard would drop 90 points on this La Tech team. BSU defense has also dropped at least 6 interceptions.
October 26th, 2010 at 10:56 PM ^
That's also why I feel like Kellen Moore shouldn't be considered a legit candidate for the Heisman trophy. Could he be the best player in college football? Sure. But playing 9 games against "La Tech's" isn't going to convince me.
October 26th, 2010 at 11:01 PM ^
Maybe get an invite out of respect for what he's done, but a scrub conference superstar can't and won't win. Denard would easily, EASILY go 2500/2500 in the WAC. Conference is a fucking joke.
October 26th, 2010 at 11:26 PM ^
it seems they're playing borderline D-IAA teams every week.
October 26th, 2010 at 11:24 PM ^
I got the over on Boise State-LaTech! It always comes down to the wire, doesn't it?
October 27th, 2010 at 1:20 AM ^
In BSU's defense, LT had nothing to lose, and was throwing everything but the kitchen sink at them (onsides kick, multiple statue of liberties, RB tosses, etc.), and nearly every series was treated as being 4 down territory. It can be hard to play a deperate team with nothing to lose.
