eligibility of a certain Buckeye that I will not name...
I was reading Adam Rittenberg's blog-I know, big mistake, but I was bored- and he said that Justin Boren will be playing for the Buckeyes next year. Some one correct me if I am wrong, but I thought you had to sit out two years if you transferred to another Big Ten school... Is that true, or will we have to see that whiny a-hole next year?

Even if his reasons were legit, it takes a special kind of idiot to not see why fans are pissed that he left and went to play for their hated rival.

I get why some fans are pissed. What I don't get is why some of you knuckle-draggers are still hung up on it a year later. The hatefulness with which some of you have taken it is borderline psychotic. Get a life and get the fuck over it. Grown men ripping on a kid and still obsessing over his decision to transfer to OSU a year later is about as pathetic as it gets.

The OP asked a simple question about his eligibilty. Talk about obsessing and getting a life, you just spent 8 hours defending Boren. If you hadn't gotten your panties in a bunch over him, this thread would probably already have gone away. What did you expect? To see a bunch of Michigan fans come on here and wish him well?
And please, he's 20 yrs old. He may be immature, but he's no kid.
If you can't see that there was a difference (in some fans eyes) between the way he left, and someone like McGuffie, then you are hopelessly lost. If this happened at any other school that has a hated rival, the results would have been the same. For example: If Pryor left OSU right now (and left their qb ranks severely depleted_, then ripped Tressell a new one on the way out, dressed up like Tressell at the Halloween party, and then had the balls to transfer to.....I don't know, MICH!.....you don't think a few OSU fans would hate the kid?
No one is obsessing about it except you. How many different people have you argued with now? Oh wait. That's what jay does.

jay you are very close to the truth regarding justin boren. a couple of corrections in your views. one is that after justin and others on the team went to rich rod to let him know about the words cunt, pussy etc being thrown in their faces by frey he told them its his way or the highway. he never did anything to stop it.
another correction is that rich rod DIDN'T give boren a full release. the real truth is that he did everything in his power to keep boren from getting a release.
borens dad had to go to martin to get his full release as rich rod was being his true dick self in in the matter
zach had nothing at all to do with borens transfer. thats a fact.

Anyway, I'm sure Justin is glad that you (Jay) and Jay have his back. I'm sure every 20 year old needs grown men sitting around vehemently defending them, lest they wilt under the pressure. Those Big Ten rivalry games must be a breeze compared to the risk of feelings being hurt by opinions expressed on the message board of a blog.
My guess is the only ones worrying about his being "trashed" is you. If he's that sensitive, the coaches were indeed right.
