for wondering about MSU! :)

LSU, and maybe a no-lose situation. We beat them and everyone can shut up forever about Hathead. We lose and everyone still says we had a successful year. Okay, this IS getting a tad bit ahead of ourselfs.
September 12th, 2010 at 1:52 PM ^
is Andrea Adelson?
September 12th, 2010 at 1:55 PM ^
But if her baseline credibility was 2/10, -2 for still having boise in the title game, therefore ZERO
September 12th, 2010 at 1:59 PM ^
THE KNOWLEDGE has already told us that Boise State will be in the title game.
September 12th, 2010 at 2:09 PM ^
did I mention we beat them?
September 12th, 2010 at 2:25 PM ^
This is because THE KNOWLEDGE is infinite. Today, though, after VT's best rendition of THE HORROR there is no way any human being can justify projecting Boise in the NC game. I am not doubting THE KNOWLEDGE, only Adelson's ability to comprehend basic logic. Only THE KNOWLEDGE could predict something so outlandish. No human

Ooh, I would love to play the Aggies and whoop them. Everybody loves a beatdown on the Aggies here in Texas, especially my TTU and UT friends.
September 12th, 2010 at 2:11 PM ^
Oh you can go to hell, i'm an Aggie. But that would be an awesome bowl game, win win for me

Someone should remind Mark Schlabach that the Rose Bowl will feature a big 10 team and a pac 10 team since he has Boise in the Rose Bowl and Iowa in the Orange Bowl.
September 12th, 2010 at 2:03 PM ^
Not anymore.

Starting with the 2010 season and running through the 2013 season, the first time the Rose Bowl loses one of its conference champions and a team from one of the non-automatic qualifying leagues earns a BCS bid, the Rose Bowl must take that team.

If OSU goes to the NCG, then they can choose whichever team they want. Generally, they choose the second Big10 or Pac10 team, but sometimes they choose a better matchup like Texas vs. Michigan.
September 12th, 2010 at 2:04 PM ^
I am very interested to see how our offense treats Iowa.
September 12th, 2010 at 2:08 PM ^
The Big 10 blog at SB Nation has us in the gator bowl. The blogger who did the post--an Iowa fan--predicted MICH to win 8 games all summer. And the commentators ripped him to shred as a result. As you can see from the comments here, there are still folks doubting what they're seeing. They only have a few weeks left of denial. They look so cute when they're like that:

btw, in HTTV I predicted a Gator Bowl berth as well.
September 12th, 2010 at 2:15 PM ^
I'll be happy with A bowl.
September 12th, 2010 at 3:11 PM ^
well ill give you mine when im done eating the cereal in it
September 12th, 2010 at 2:25 PM ^
I think Mark Schlabach can go straight to the Go Fuck Yourself Bowl for the stupid prediction he made before the UConn game. I'll never read one word written by that asshole again.
September 12th, 2010 at 2:28 PM ^
On a side note, CFN thinks we're playing in TWO bowl games.
December 30, 2010 San Diego, CA
Bridgepoint Education Holiday Bowl 7:00 pm ESPN
Big Ten No. 5 vs. Pac 10 No. 3
Projection: Michigan vs. Virginia Tech
January 1, 2011 Tampa, FL
Outback Bowl 1:00 pm ABC
Big Ten No. 3 vs. SEC No. 3, 4 or 5
Projection: Michigan vs. South Carolina
Woooooooooo!
Considering a Big Ten team hasn't played in the Holiday bowl since Michigan in 1994, I think that's likely the inaccurate one. Unless I'm mistaken.
September 12th, 2010 at 2:38 PM ^
You are correct, the Holiday bowl website says it is Pac-10 vs Big 12.
September 12th, 2010 at 5:36 PM ^
I used to go to the Holiday Bowl every year when I lived in San Diego. It was usually one of the best bowl games, often a shootout ending decided on one of the last possessions.
September 12th, 2010 at 3:28 PM ^
the girl predicts MSU to play Texas tech again haha..
September 12th, 2010 at 3:43 PM ^
We will be in one of them
September 12th, 2010 at 4:10 PM ^
Still a bit early for these type of projections. I will however, take the Outback Bowl, in a heart beat.
