That fumble was huge
Gave WVU new life, they get a TD, it's a game
Setting up for an epic conclusion
September 10th, 2010 at 10:08 PM ^
That's some quality tackling there, lou.
September 10th, 2010 at 10:11 PM ^
but this just feels like a failure of preparation on the part of WVU. bad snaps, poor protection, bad reads... I just don't see WVU as a prepared and ready team while Marshall looks synced and extremely well prepared to play. this hasn't even been a game of it seeming like Marshall was "in their huddle"... they've just played more intensely it seems with excellent execution.
September 10th, 2010 at 10:12 PM ^
3 minutes to drive 99 yards. put up or shut up.
September 10th, 2010 at 10:13 PM ^
They punted? Christ! I thought Lloyd Carr retired.

September 10th, 2010 at 10:38 PM ^
September 10th, 2010 at 10:14 PM ^
Marshall isn't going to get a holding call to save their life...
...And they're being held like crazy.
September 10th, 2010 at 10:15 PM ^
which is supposed to be a safety, right?
... and on that smith run
September 10th, 2010 at 10:14 PM ^
Marshall is gonna let them score.
Prevent defense only prevents you from winning.
September 10th, 2010 at 10:15 PM ^
Fan on field
Hahahaha
I never understood...you can mention a fan on the field but you can never show it with the cameras or else it might "encourage other drunk people to run onto the field"
Makes no sense.
September 10th, 2010 at 10:14 PM ^
tase'em
September 10th, 2010 at 10:15 PM ^
Wait, they aren't going to show us the fan on the field being chased by 20 state troopers? Lame.
September 10th, 2010 at 10:18 PM ^
No, instead we're treated to a 10 second shot of Bill Stewart's constipation grimace.
September 10th, 2010 at 10:17 PM ^
Marshall's gonna be kicking themselves for punting that ball.
September 10th, 2010 at 10:21 PM ^
Yeah, but they wouldn't be in this position if they hadn't fumbled the ball in the red zone
Score there, the game's over. Marshall pulls the upset. Now there's a good game.
WVU leads series all time since 1911 9-0...damn, would have though WVU had won more games in the series than 9
September 10th, 2010 at 10:18 PM ^
WVU's line is just... they're running some steps this week
September 10th, 2010 at 10:18 PM ^
Good grief that WVU lineman is fat. They miss Barwis.
September 10th, 2010 at 10:20 PM ^
he threw it 9 yds long and 3 feet over his head. these announcers are struggling.
September 10th, 2010 at 10:21 PM ^
following in UM's footsteps with an attendance record...
of 41,382
September 10th, 2010 at 10:22 PM ^
The WVU offense the last two drives has just woken up
Still got to convert 2 though
September 10th, 2010 at 10:26 PM ^
they're getting some breaks and Marshall went into a prevent that shot them in the foot.
and WVU scores
September 10th, 2010 at 10:22 PM ^
this is borderline ridiculous how badly Marshall is beating them off the line and getting held on nearly every play. i don't have a dog in this fight and i'm pissed
and two flags come in for pass interference 5 seconds after WVU doesn't catch it
September 10th, 2010 at 10:24 PM ^
That ball was never getting caught, and they should be up 10 anyway after a bearhug in the endzone on the first play of the drive.
September 10th, 2010 at 10:24 PM ^
September 10th, 2010 at 10:31 PM ^
Even when they scored, he grimaced. Maybe his face is frozen in that position.
September 10th, 2010 at 10:26 PM ^
...and now Bill Stewart kicks a field goal.
Edit: damn, too slow.
September 10th, 2010 at 10:28 PM ^
he's kicking the extra point
September 10th, 2010 at 10:26 PM ^
I said it before but I can't believe Marshall fumbled away their chances to win this damn game
Every reason why this is still a game...point at that damn fumble
Completely changed the game, after that WVU had two drives from deep in their own territory to pull within 2
September 10th, 2010 at 10:29 PM ^
This really reminds me of last year's MSU game.
September 10th, 2010 at 10:29 PM ^
What a comeback.
September 10th, 2010 at 10:30 PM ^
showing the left tackle holding the guy with both hands
September 10th, 2010 at 10:31 PM ^
...Time to see what Marshall is made of.
September 10th, 2010 at 10:29 PM ^
unbelievable. i'm writing the NCAA a letter with stern language, CAPITAL LETTERS and lots of punctuation!!!!!!
September 10th, 2010 at 10:30 PM ^
Wish Geno Smith came up for an official few years ago, kid looks great.
September 10th, 2010 at 10:34 PM ^
Nuh uh.... he called 2 TO's in the 1st Q. He's been totally erratic when he's had pressure on, he can't really run, did you just turn the game on? I'll take all QB's on our roster over him.
September 10th, 2010 at 10:47 PM ^
Even Kennedy? You may be right, but the kid gutted it out and did what he had to do in crunch time.
September 10th, 2010 at 10:32 PM ^
but this only helps to prove what I've suspected all along... Ohio State is really good.
September 10th, 2010 at 10:33 PM ^
Jim Hermann lives!
September 10th, 2010 at 10:36 PM ^
It sucks to be Marshall. They got completely mugged on that no-call holding in the endzone (which, for all intents and purposes, would have ended the game), then proceeded to shit themselves for the next 4 minutes and allow WVU to tie it up.
September 10th, 2010 at 10:37 PM ^
They just stood there and watched that receiver run for the first down!
September 10th, 2010 at 10:37 PM ^
Man, WVU is going to be badddd when Devine leaves.
September 10th, 2010 at 10:48 PM ^
Nah, Tavon Austin is good.
September 10th, 2010 at 10:38 PM ^
Marshall's defense looks exhausted. Watch them make a huge stop now though.
September 10th, 2010 at 10:39 PM ^
These officials are just downright terrible. How is that not a personal foul?
September 10th, 2010 at 10:42 PM ^
WVU player had his helmet off taking swings at Marshall player(s) with no call
September 10th, 2010 at 10:40 PM ^
Put this in the end zone Marshall and end this sucker
September 10th, 2010 at 10:40 PM ^
Disastrous first play for Marshall.
September 10th, 2010 at 10:42 PM ^
Who didn't see that coming?
September 10th, 2010 at 10:42 PM ^
LOL HE MISSED IT
CHOOKE
