First Offensive Play

Submitted by icefins26 on

I think someone posted this last year as something to toss out before the opener.  What will the first play be tomorrow for Michigan and who will be involved?

My guess is a quick bubble screen from Tate to Roundtree for 5 yards.

it would probably be a run play to break in the offense and get over some nerves.  On the other hand if I'm saying what I want us to do, I say go BOLD BABY!   Rich Rod shoul call for a deep route right out of the gate and get some points on the board.  Nothing would please me more than to see the board lit up with 7 - 0 Michigan in the first twenty seconds and quiet all of those doubters out there.  Everyone knows who I'm talking about too.    All of those so called fans saying that Michigan better watch out, cuz UConn's looking for their first 9 win season.  Well, you know what, UConn's big brother in the Big East 15th ranked Pitt just got beat by an unranked Utah team last night.    So with all that in mind, a quick touchdown will let the Huskies no that they're next!  GO BLUE!!!

Nobody knows, but i would run the outside reciever on a slant and the slot around him then go deep. The qb would pump fake then hopefully go deep to roundtree.Maybe about 50 yards.

Tate at QB, Denard at RB -- Forcier pitches to Robinson who takes off on a pitch sweep, But wait, Robinson peels back. he is looking to throw, a throws a perfect strke to a wide open Tate...

-- Oh no, Forcier dropped a sure touchdown.  2nd and 10.

alternative ending

-- Forcier makes the grab at the 35, he's to the 40, 45, looks like he could go, one man to beat, Touchdown Michigan!!!  Uh Frank, theres a flag on the field looks like they're going to bring this one back.  2nd and 20.
