Just wondering what everyone is drinking on this Friday evening.
I'm making it a Shorts Beer night....Nicie Spicie, Strawberry Shortscake, and Noble Chaos (their Oktoberfest).

because I had to kill all my leftover PBRs last night, I'm getting ready to move out.
Speaking of which, as I took my shopping-cart-load of empties to get redeemed this morning, I saw this older gentleman carrying a trashbag full of nothing but Natural Light 24oz cans. Impressive.

The selection is quite good for beer out here. I'm going with "Cold Smoked Scotch Style Ale". It's from a small brewery in Missoula, MT. Fantastic product

Started with New Belgium's Ranger IPA, then a second, then New Belgium's 1554 Black Ale, then Saint Arnold's Lawnmower. Now moving to Maker's Mark. It's been a tough week for Michigan football, and I'm having to deal with it the way advertising tells me I should.

First time I've tried it, (a neighbor told me it was great). It is good, I'll admit, but its flavor profile is too much like other Bell's brews. I love Oberon, (might be my favorite beer) and I've been known to drink a Two-Hearted or three, but with the lager, I think Bell's is in danger of turning a "consistency of style" into a "one-trick pony."

My mom and dad have gotten me hooked on rum and coke (white rum, not spiced)... Like me some cheap Castillo rum! Seeing as Saturday my sister is getting married, I will take the opportunity to get absolutely obliterated for the whole weekend just to, uh, welcome the newcomers to the family, *insert last name here*-style.
