The only thing we know for sure is that it is an ankle/leg injury. For all we know he walked it off and the coaches made him go to the hospital to have it checked out to be on the safe side. A lot of times when you get your legs rolled up on, it scares the hell out of you. You don't want to get up because you fear for the worst. Please let this be the case.

is that it MAY be a dislocated ankle, which, if severe, is 18-20 weeks.

However, it's important to note that it's really, really easy to mistake a nasty ankle sprain for a dislocated ankle, because the swelling in either case makes it hard to tell what's going on. A nasty ankle sprain sucks just as hard, except that it heals up pretty well in 3-4 weeks tops.

GERGs' system is established. It's not new and not nearly as much of a mystery to the players. In this regard, we are in the best shape we've been in for over 3 years.  Because  of this stability, I believe this defense will be able to adjust better and faster to a serious loss like this.

PS - Troy, I know this must really suck for you. We are rooting for your quick and full recovery!

Troy will be alright. Float by his twitter. He's got a whole mess of hot lady followers who will definitely ensure he gets the best care. Seriously, if you've gotta be laid up, you may as well have a parade of beauty stopping by with cookies and whatnot.
